The Independent Degree Granting Institutions of BC (IDGI-BC) is a registered Society and proudly represents both for-profit and not-for-profit private post-secondary degree-granting colleges, universities, and institutes. Our mission is to support and encourage educational excellence, raise public awareness and promote recognition of the critical contributions made by private institutions to post-secondary education, while also highlighting their essential role in our economy. Through advocacy, information dissemination, and opportunities for professional development, we ensure our members adhere to the highest standards of education and comply with all government regulations.
